DAY 16 JUNE 2ND BACK TO SEATTLE

Well, all good things must end. Then again, it doesn't really end - it's just put on hold. You need to travel with the point of view of one who will return. It helps you prioritize and helps you put in perspective the fact that you can't do it all on one vacation. This was a fabulous taste of the Southwest. Because of this jam-packed sampler, I saw enough to know for sure I'd like to return. Still, it's a bit sad to see it come to an end.

We had a relatively leisurely morning. Our flight didn't leave until 1 pm. Dave and Steph made sure to send me out in style by presenting me with a custom made sun visor. No respect.

It was good to be back in Seattle. From the airport we caught a cab home. We had an extra day to get things in order before returning to work. It's hard to go back to work after such a long time away. However, if we don't work, we can't play. Another trip is already in the works for my birthday next year, a milestone birthday. Stay tuned.
